JP Enfant is back with three super deep and seductive techno grooves, whilst completing the package is a remix from Mojuba's Don Williams.
Dutchman Jan Pieter Kind is resident at Amsterdam’s acclaimed club De School and on a mission to bring sultry, warm and escapist moods to both his productions and DJ sets. He does so again here in some style, starting with the long, smooth grooves of 'Our Future Is Under Construction'. Soft drums, spaced out pads and subtle melodies make it a real heart warmer, while 'Sirens' is just as deep and cavernous, but is less hurried. Instead you feel like you are suspended in a big chamber of sound as dark undertones shift about below. 'They' then flips the script and is a peak time head wrecker with manic melodies cutting up the rolling drums. It’s a standout track from a fine EP that gets completed by the long running founder and owner of Mojuba and A.R.T.less Records and one half of the Tokomak Records company, Don Williams. His take on 'They' breaks up the beats into a broken pattern, finds him layering in some intergalactic synths and mournful pads, and it makes for a fascinating bit of music as physical as it is full of feeling.
